“Aging is not lost youth but a new stage of opportunity and strength.”
—BETTY FRIEDAN
At NCOA, our vision is a just and caring society in which each of us, as we age, lives with dignity, purpose, and security. We believe aging well is something every person deserves—regardless of gender, color, sexuality, income, or zip code.
Many older adults and their families want to tell their stories, but those conversations can be difficult to start and share. Art fosters communication. It creates an opportunity and forum for artists to share their visions, and their art can offer a common ground to explore what it means to age well.
